Located just outside of Phalaborwa and bordering on the Kruger National Park, the Hans Merensky Golf Course is an another delight of a course to have emerged from the rich lands of Limpopo. The course has recently been voted the best walking course in South Africa and received the Diamond Arrow Award for being the highest rated course in Limpopo.

Amarula Lapa is the official home to South Africa’s best loved liqueur, Amarula Cream. The Lapa is a promotional tasting facility that offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy an ice cold glass of Amarula Cream whilst learning more about the history and uses of the legendary Marula tree as well as the versatility of the product at hand.

Palaborwa Gate gives you access into the northern section of the Kruger National Park in the Limpopo Province. Phalaborwa Gate has compelling scenery – granite koppies, mopane woodlands, bushwillows and acacia trees.

The central grasslands of the Kruger National Park mean that there is a predominance of herbivores and animals like buffalo, who herd in groups of up to 250, near Orpen. The open grasslands that stretch through Satara and N'wanetsi mean that you are also most likely to spot lion in the area. Orpen is known for the predominance of predators in the area.

The elephant interaction offered by Kapama, is a unique opportunity for guests to get extremely close to the world’s largest land animals. This activity offers visitors the chance to learn about African elephants, both wild and habituated, as they interact and feed these gentle giants.

At the Hoedspruit Centre for Endangered Species cheetah and a number of other rehabilitated animals can be viewed at close range.

Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre aims to contribute to the conservation of endangered species and the rehabilitation of injured and poisoned wildlife.

The Three Rondavels is a natural rock formation on the edge of the Blyde River Canyon along the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga. Shaped like three rondavels (African huts), the rocks are said to portray how traditional huts have evolved over the years with the most basic on the left hand side leading towards the more modern beehive hut on the far right.

Blyde River Canyon Reserve is situated against the Greater Drakensberg escarpment and includes natural wonders such as the Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, Pinnacle Rock and God's Window. Many visitors to this region enjoy the visual splendour of combining the Panorama Route with exceptional game viewing in the Kruger National Park to create a spectacular itinerary in Mpumalanga.

One of the country's most scenic self-drives, the Panorama Route, explores the Mpumalanga highlands, or the north-eastern section of the Great Escarpment of the Drakensberg. In these rugged mountains the plateau comes to an abrupt and dramatic halt, falling steeply away into the Lowveld accompanied by incredible views out over the grasslands of Africa
