We Do Too
Monday, 19 Feb 20184 Questions to ask yourself before you choose your venue
Shortly after the pure euphoria of the wedding proposal fades into reality, the newly engaged faces each other with wedding planning concerns.
Questions like when, where, how and what can soon become troublesome if you don’t have a clear idea of what it is you as a couple want. After years of hosting successful and memorable events and weddings, we have developed a set of questions you should consider asking each other before you choose your wedding venue.
Choosing the right venue is the one decision that will have the most significant impact on your event. As soon as you found the ‘perfect venue’ all other things will fall into place.
MAXIMUMS AND MINIMUMS – AN IMPORTANT QUESTION TO ASK…
You need to know what is the venue capacity, and catering capacity of the venue before you make a decision. If your wedding party includes 250 guests you need to find a venue suitable that can cater for them comforably. If your wedding is an intimate affair, you need to find a cosy setting that will enhance the special event. Ask the venue for a specifcation fact sheet about the facilities they have available.
ACCOMMODATION & ACCESSIBILITY
It is just so much easier getting dressed at the venue and not have to travel to your reception venue. And, if your wedding venue offers accommodation options for the out-of-towners you will be assured that your guests can relax and enjoy every moment. An added bonus is for sure if your wedding venue offers additional services such as a spa, chapel and scenic surrounding for picture-perfect photography.
CATERING & DÉCOR CONCERNS:
Does the venue have a kitchen and can it provide catering for your event? Does it have tables , chairs, linen, fairy lights and more you can use? Does it have a setup and cleaning team? What about Audio Visual capabilities? Make sure you ask all of these questions before making any decision you might regret later.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
Make sure your wedding venue offers suitable parking for all of your guests. You don’t want your guests worrying about the safety of their vehicle when they should be dancing the night away. A venue with a safe and secure parking is what dreams are made of.
So, now that you’ve found the perfect partner isn’t it time to secure your perfect venue.
